Bangladesh has tremendously expended her garments market in all most all major countries of the world. She has earned reputation for the quality and price for all the woven & knit Garments Sweater.

Starting from the late 70s as a negligible non traditional sector woth narrow export base, the readymade garments industries, by the year 1983, emerged as promising export earning sector of the country. Afterwards, this sector has now been acclaimed as the ‘thrust sector’ of the country. The garments sector has exported US $ 12347.77 million till date against US $ 7 million in 1981-1982. Of this 60% earnings are from knit garments.

About 4300 garments factories are now in operation in the country of which, 302 are on joint venture operation in the 10 Export Processing Zone (EPZ) with the foreign direct investor. Despite worldwide recession, Bangladesh Export from Garments Sector has increased remarkably. The EPZ has exported US $ 1900 million during 2008-2009. The percentage of export of EPZ is 17% of the total export of RMG. The overall increase of export of RMG is about 6%.

IBC is exporting readymade garments out of Bangladesh to the EEC countries, USA, CANADA and Japan.

IBC’s endeavor is to boost up export of garments in sharing of co-operation with the garments manufacturers of the country.
